I liked the concept of this episode, but it was way too fast paced. I know they were rushed for time because Cartoon Network wouldn’t let them run it for the full hour they originally planned, so they kind of didn’t have much choice, but I still found the pacing of it frustrating.

One of the genuinely sweet things about the girls and Professor Utonium’s father/daughter relationships is that, objectively speaking, both physically and in terms of personality and morality, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup are far from the “perfect little girls,” though they do generally have kind, forgiving, and selfless hearts and good intentions in most episodes, their punishments of criminals can be rather harsh at times, sometimes veering into OOC excess cruelty here and there, such as in “Candy is Dandy,” the ending in “Slave The Day,” “Moral Decay, “Bubblevicious,” and “Gettin’ Twiggy With It.”

However, while Professor Utonium doesn’t enable their problematic or bratty behaviors or choices when he catches it in Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup either, and generally punishes it or scolds it when he catches it in them, they are also always still his ”little angels” and his “perfect little girls“ because he’s their dad and he loves them, which is cute.

Also, while they do genuinely look cute to us from an artistic perspective in a cartoon, in universe Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup are bug-eyed, fingerless, earless, noseless, and toeless little freaks of nature with stub arms and legs, who don‘t really look cute to most people in the city at all. However, to Professor Utonium, his three kids are the most adorable little girls ever.
